Terms of Use

By using KAKERU 書ける (“the app”), operated by Ibrahim Shehadeh, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Public testing

The app is in public testing. Features may change, break or be removed, and data may occasionally be reset. The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind.

2. Your account

You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for activity under it. Please keep your account secure and use the app lawfully.

3. Acceptable use

Do not attack, overload or probe the service, attempt to access other users’ data, scrape it in bulk, or use it to store or share unlawful or harmful content (including in custom decks and feedback).

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create, such as custom decks and feedback. You give me a limited permission to store, process and display it as needed to run the app, and to use feedback to improve the app without obligation to you.

5. Intellectual property

The app’s code, design and original content are © Ibrahim Shehadeh. Third-party data is used under its own licences (see Credits below).

6. Learning content

The app is a study aid. Readings, meanings, stroke data and example words may contain errors, and I do not guarantee any learning result or exam outcome.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data or progress, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.

8. Suspension and termination

I may suspend or end access to the app, or remove an account, if these terms are broken or to protect the service. You may stop using the app at any time and request deletion of your data (see the Privacy Policy).

9. Changes, law and contact

I may update these terms and will change the date above when I do. They are governed by the laws that apply where the developer is based, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have locally. Contact: .
